Materials & care

The structure is made from selected Scots pine treated with class 4 autoclave protection against fungi and wood-boring insects. Wood is a natural material that may develop minor splits or surface variations over time with humidity changes, which do not affect structural strength.

These commercial warranties cover all manufacturing defects and exclusively concern the shipment of spare parts to replace defective parts.

Details of commercial warranties

• The autoclave treated Scots pine wood is guaranteed for 10 years against fungi and insect attacks (excluding termites, ants, and Australian bees). Wood is a living material that works with changes in temperature and humidity levels. A phenomenon of swelling, micro-cracks, or splits may occur over time. This phenomenon does not in any way alter the mechanical resistance of the wood or the durability of the materials. Furthermore, a deformation of the wall under water pressure may occur – mainly on the central and lower planks (maximum water pressure) – this is normal. Provided that the assembly has been carried out correctly in accordance with the assembly instructions, this phenomenon does not call into question the solidity of the structure.
• The liner: 2 years on seams and watertightness, under conditions of normal use and valid only before assembly. Any cutting of the liner or filling with water, even partial, means that the conformity of the liner received in relation to the order (color, dimension) is acknowledged. Not covered by warranty: tears, holes, folds, stains, discoloration (including on the waterline due to tanning products or treatment products containing copper), damage due to incorrect assembly or use, unauthorized interventions, public or commercial use, negligence, lack of maintenance, or exposure to frost, use of non-recommended products, damage caused by external forces, apparent defects.
• Accessories and filtration benefit from a 2-year warranty.
• Hardware benefits from a 1-year warranty covering manufacturing defects and missing parts noted before assembly. This warranty does not cover damage due to incorrect assembly or use, nor damage due to corrosion.
