Built with Class IV autoclave-treated Scots pine and featuring an integrated steel Omega reinforcement cradle, this pool provides exceptional stability and can be installed above ground without requiring a concrete slab.

Equipped with a comprehensive filtration kit, this complete set includes a 6 m³/h sand filter system, a connected Smart Plug for mobile filtration scheduling, an interior stainless steel ladder, a removable exterior wooden ladder, protective ground and wall felts, and a durable 60/100 blue liner.

Materials & care

Certifications: The wood for Sunbay pools comes from responsibly and sustainably managed forests certified PEFC and labeled “Bois de France”. The CTB B+ certificate attests to the use of a quality treatment product and the conformity of the process. Sunbay is a member of the Arbust association, working on the recycling and revaluation of treated wood at the end of its life.

The forests are located a maximum of 300km from the sawmill to limit transport and CO2 emissions.

Scots Pine: Sunbay wooden frame pools are made of Scots pine of exclusively French origin. Pine is the ideal species for autoclave class IV use, guaranteeing resistance to rot and attacks by xylophagous insects. The so-called “local” pine allows for a larger impregnation zone, guaranteeing a lifespan of more than 10 years and offering a natural aesthetic to Sunbay wooden pools.

Compatibility

The included Smart Plug requires a smartphone with Bluetooth connectivity and the Fluidra Pool app (compatible with Android and iOS). An optional iQ Bridge ZB gateway can be added for Wi-Fi control.

How to use

Gre-Sunbay wooden pools are designed to be assembled easily without requiring professional assistance. The detailed and illustrated manual guides you step-by-step through each assembly stage.

Assembly without grooves or tongues:

The assembly of the wooden planks that make up the structure of the Gre-Sunbay wooden pool is done by interlocking them by overlapping and crossing them at their ends. Planks without grooves or tongues are easier to position. The 19-centimeter width of the planks allows for faster assembly because the number of rows is reduced.

To ensure safety in the use of the pools, Sunbay integrates the elements specified in the following standards from the design stage:

– NF P90-316: general safety requirements and test methods applicable to private family-use pool kits.

– NF P90-317: general safety requirements and test methods applicable to access means for private family-use pools.

– NF P90-318: general safety and performance requirements applicable to filtration systems for private family-use pools. Within this framework, the filter flow rate, filtration threshold, retention capacity, sizing of filtration system components, etc., are checked.

– NF P90-319: method for measuring filtration efficiency, retention capacity, and mechanical resistance of filtration groups and systems intended to equip private family-use pools.
