Materials & care

The structure is manufactured from Scots pine treated with class 4 autoclave protection against fungi and wood-boring insects. To maintain optimal condition and uphold warranty terms, apply an appropriate wood protection treatment annually. Store the liner between 10°C and 25°C prior to installation and assemble in temperatures between 20°C and 25°C.

Compatibility

Compatible with above-ground, semi-inground, and fully inground installations. Requires either a reinforced concrete slab (minimum 10 cm thickness) or an evenly leveled sand base with dual-layer 30 mm XPS panels when using the metal cradle system.

These commercial warranties cover all manufacturing defects and exclusively concern the shipment of spare parts to replace defective parts.

## Details of commercial warranties

– The autoclave-treated Scots pine wood is guaranteed for 10 years against fungi and insect attacks (excluding termites, ants, and Australian bees). Wood is a living material that works with changes in temperature and humidity levels. A phenomenon of swelling, micro-cracks, or splits may occur over time. This phenomenon does not in any way alter the mechanical resistance of the wood or the durability of the materials. Furthermore, deformation of the wall under water pressure may occur – mainly on the central and lower planks (maximum water pressure) – this is normal. Provided that the assembly has been carried out in accordance with the instructions in the assembly manual, this phenomenon does not call into question the solidity of the structure.

Conditions:

– The wood must be treated every year with an appropriate wood protection product.
– For in-ground pools, drainage must comply with the instructions in the manual.
– The wood must be treated annually with protection products available on the market. Warning: Without annual treatment, the warranty expires. For in-ground pools, all elements above ground must be treated.

Warranty exclusions:

– Any modification of the product.
– Natural traits and processes of the wood (change and differences in shade, presence of knots, cracks and splits, resin and/or salt leaching, bluing, superficial mold).
– Corrosion of hardware.
– Warped or curved elements allowing for product assembly.
– Damages caused by transport, storage, assembly, inadequate use, or lack of maintenance.
– Natural deformation due to prolonged exposure to the sun.
– Damages due to poor ground preparation.
– Damages caused by unauthorized interventions.
– Damages resulting from public or commercial use.
– Damages caused by force majeure (earthquakes, fires, landslides, floods, storms, winds, hail).
– Damages caused by termites, ants, or Australian bees.
– Defects visible upon delivery.

– The liner: 2 years on seams and watertightness, under normal usage conditions and valid only before assembly. Any cutting of the liner or even partial water filling means that the conformity of the liner received with respect to the order (color, dimension) is acknowledged. Not covered by warranty:

– Tears, holes, folds, stains, discoloration (including on the waterline due to tanning products or treatment products containing copper).
– Damages due to incorrect assembly or use: recommended storage between 10°C and 25°C in the original packaging; assembly between 20°C and 25°C.
– Unauthorized interventions.
– Public or lucrative use: damages caused by use for public or lucrative purposes.
– Negligence, lack of maintenance, or exposure to frost.
– Use of non-recommended products.
– Damages caused by external forces such as earthquakes, fires, landslides, floods, wind, storms, hail.
– Apparent defects that should have been noticed at the time of delivery.

– Accessories and filtration benefit from a 2-year warranty.
– Hardware benefits from a 1-year warranty covering manufacturing defects and missing parts noted before assembly. This warranty does not cover damages due to incorrect assembly or use, nor those due to corrosion.
