Crafted in France from durable Scots pine, the Gre Sunbay Macadamia wooden swimming pool offers an elegant and robust addition to any outdoor living space. Engineered with the exclusive Omega steel reinforcement system, this elongated octagonal pool can be installed above-ground without requiring a concrete slab, as well as semi-inground or fully inground.

Featuring autoclave class IV pressure-treated timber and a UV-resistant 60/100 blue liner, it ensures exceptional weather resistance and longevity. The complete kit includes an efficient 6 m³/h sand filtration system, a Smart Plug with mobile app control, stainless steel interior and wooden exterior ladders, and antibacterial protective felt for the walls and floor.

Materials & care

Certifications: The wood for Sunbay pools comes from responsibly and sustainably managed forests certified PEFC and labeled “Bois de France”. The CTB B+ certificate attests to the use of a quality treatment product and also certifies the compliance of its effectiveness process. A member of the Arbust association, Sunbay works on the recycling and revaluation of treated wood at the end of its life.

The forests are located a maximum of 300km from the sawmill to limit transport and CO2 emissions.

Scots Pine: Sunbay wooden frame pools are made of Scots pine exclusively from France in forests near the sawmill. Pine is the ideal species for the autoclave class IV usage, guaranteeing resistance to rot and attacks by xylophagous insects. The so-called “local” pine allows for a larger impregnation zone, guaranteeing a lifespan of more than 10 years and offering natural aesthetics to Sunbay wooden pools.

How to use

Sunbay wooden pools are equipped as standard with a sand filtration unit with power adapted to the pool volume.

1. Your pool water is drawn through a skimmer.
2. It enters the pump.
3. The water is propelled into the tank containing the sand.
4. The sand retains impurities from the water.
5. After cleaning, the water returns to the pool.
6. It passes through a return nozzle.

Warranty

Details of commercial warranties:

– Class IV autoclave treated Scots pine wood is guaranteed for 10 years against rot and insect attacks.
– The liner: 2 years on welds and watertightness, under normal conditions of use. Not guaranteed: Snags, holes, tears, stains (treatment products directly in the water), stains linked to the development of algae, stains linked to the decomposition of foreign bodies in contact with the liner, stains and discoloration resulting from the action of oxidizing products, color fastness and wear due to friction of the material on various surfaces. Deformations of the liner left for more than 24 hours without water (never drain your pool completely). It is imperative to keep the liner serial number label present on the product and its packaging.
– Stainless steel ladder: 2 years. In the case of salt electrolysis filtration, the ladder warranty cannot be taken into account.
– Filtration unit: The pump is guaranteed for 2 years (electrical problem) under normal conditions of use. Not guaranteed: breakage of parts (pump base/sand tank, pre-filter cover, multiport valve, etc.), deterioration due to faulty connection, use of the pump dry, deterioration by abrasion or corrosion (the filtration unit must be placed in a cool, dry place, protected from water splashes).
– Other components: 2 years.
